Education Assistance
“F.E.DS.” believes that through education you can change a nation! We just want to change the path of the lives of our clients. Whether they are non high school graduates or high school graduates that may desire to continue their education, through “F.E.DS.”, Fathers will get the assistance that they need. “The Education Assistance Program” will make available the opportunity to continue education by offering G.E.D. classes, College Placement Assistance, Vocational and Technical School Assistance, and Financial Assistance through Loans- Grants- and Scholarships.
“F.E.DS.” will partner with local high schools for G.E.D. classes. For the Vocational and Technical sector we will establish a relationship with area Vocational and Technical Colleges to create financial specific programs for our clients. We will also establish scholarship programs with these colleges to assist with “fatherless children” with interest in a Vocational or Technical School.
The “F.E.DS.” scholarship program will be formed primarily for teen fathers but will not be limited. Our belief is that if we can direct these young men to continue their education, we will need an incentive. There is not a better incentive than to pay for their school. There will be full scholarship opportunities for G.E.D.’s, Vocational, and Technical Schools, with partial scholarships for students preparing for a 4 year college. In the future we will also offer a full scholarship program for students interested in 4 year schools.
